My Babymoon
Last weekend Ty and I went on a babymoon (honeymoon to get to know your baby...), and it ROCKED! We thrilled my mom with a surprise visit. It was so relaxing to have just one kid, especially the one that doesn't run around the house and make messes all day. Ty was pretty popular, especially with his new Aunt Haley. They were pretty inseparable, but every now and then, someone else got to hold him.
Here he is with his new uncle Harris.
Ty fell asleep shortly after this picture was taken. So tender.
Mom and Haley took me out for some awesome Thai food. Sure beats the mac and cheese I had today... P.S. How gorgeous is Haley in this picture?!
Smiling at Uma shortly after we arrived. Ty was full of smiles and coos all weekend. It was so fun to show him off at this age.

When it's springtime in the Rockies...

My kids sure crack me up! Here is a picture of one of Bronwyn's mischevious smiles. She is always up to something, and it usually is against the rules!

These dress up glasses have long since lost their arms, but Magsy still makes them work!

Ty has so many cute facial expressions. Be sure to watch the video at the bottom!
This blog entry is a little long, and self indulgent. Now that I have shown you my cute kids, for the 100th time, here are some pictures of us enjoying the most beautiful Spring ever!
Blowing bubbles with the cousins.
Spring cleaning. Good thing I have three mops!
Smiling at cousin Kylie.
With Uncle Bill and Aunt Sandra.

Nothing beats a bedtime story from Grandma and Papa.

The top picture is of our plum tree in full blossom. It is amazing. The bottom tree is our cherry tree. We always look forward to our yummy, home grown fruit each summer.

And now my favorite thing about this Spring.... Ty's cute smiles! He is such a sweetie. So snuggly and happy.

Today is such a beautiful day, that the girls and I spent the entire morning outside (while Ty napped). Both girls just thought our dandelion filled backyard was a beautiful flower garden, and pretended to water the "flowers". Bronwyn is always making up songs, and here are the lyrics that she came up with today:
I'm a flower grower
I'm a flower grower
But if you don't want to be a flower grower, then you can't!
But you can be a pirate or a horse!
Meanwhile, I'm sure my dad was laughing from above as he watched me try and tackle our raspberry garden! I hated helping him when I was growing up, and now I have my own. My life has truly come full circle!
I'm a flower grower
I'm a flower grower
But if you don't want to be a flower grower, then you can't!
But you can be a pirate or a horse!

It looks like I am really on the ball, posting Easter pictures on Easter Sunday. But the truth of the matter is, Ty won't go to sleep. So I am just wasting time until Todd has worked his magic and gotten him to bed. Ty is actually a great sleeper.... at home. But after a day of church and family partying, he is overstimulated and having a hard time going to sleep! We had a great Easter though. The girls loved the Easter egg hunt at their grandparents. We had perfect weather, cute kids, yummy food, and lots of laughs. Happy Easter!

Fairy Tales
The girls have really been into Fairy Tales and playing pretend lately. Today they were each using their "magic mirrors". Here they are wishing to go to a ball. They have been wearing their princess slippers and crowns constantly, so I wasn't at all surprised to find Magsy still all dressed up during her nap. So cute!
And no fairy tale is complete without a handsome prince. Here is Ty with his new chubby cheeks!

Blessing and Birthday

Hilary and my mom were able to spend a few days with us, and Hilary took so many great pictures for us! (She is taking photography lessons!) Here is one of my favorites. Isn't Ty just the sweetest little guy? I am obsessed!

Sunday was Ty's baby blessing. Here he is with his daddy, and two grandpas. I always look forward to hearing the blessings of my children. It was beautiful, and I look forward to seeing all the wonderful contributions Ty will bring into the world. Magdalen also bore her testimony for the first time! She could barely see over the podium, it was adorable!
Sunday evening we celebrated Magdalen's 3rd birthday with a Hawaiian luau. It was so fun and chaotic! Magdalen entertained us all with her version of the hula. She actually did a great job, even though I don't think she even knows what the hula is....

Magsy gave it her best shot when it came to blowing out her sparkler candle! She is so cute!
